Archiving:

Archiving

Who has that cool "come to caucuses" sign? Where's that great training manual on precinct organizing so and so did a few years ago? Ever ask these questions only to find the file was long since erased from someone's computer? We are on a massive drive to archive our CD and SD documents and we have created a place to upload (and download) these documents. Right click the link below and open the link in a new window so you can follow along.

File Gallery

You should have the new window open and you should see the File Gallery for all the files stored here at Aurora. First thing to do is find the little icon next to the words "File Galleries" (just below the find box -not the page title)-hovering over the icon will pop up "Show Tree". Click that bad boy and you'll see a nice tree directory that reveals all the galleries. Click any folder to see the files in it.

Downloading: Once in a folder, click any filename to download it.

Uploading: If you are logged in (and have permission -some galleries are locked) you'll see, near the top of the page, "upload File" -click that and you'll be taken to an upload dialog. Fill in the requested information: it is nice to have a very short description of what the file contains. Now "Browse" for a file (or files) and click upload. You file should now show up in the list (you may have to click "Browse Gallery)

Our goal is to archive files of interest CD-wide, i.e. we are not looking to upload every picnic and house party flyer. Files should have long term application.
